Nic is the founder of Sunset Media and SailorGirlHQ and a talented professional in the Australian PR landscape working across the world on sailing events. Beyond that she also supports the sustainability and diversity growth in sailing. 

ROB DOUGLASS

Managing Director

Rob has been the managing director since the foundation of Sunset Media in 2014 and continues to be hands on running the back office of the company and finance. 

ANDREW SNELL

Technical and Media Operations

Andrew came onboard at Sunset Media in 2020. A talented technologist Andrews skills are invaluable to the team and he also helps assist Nic with a large amount in person events.  

AMELIA LOW

Marketing and Event Coordinator

Amelia is the most recent addition to the Sunset team, but has already made her mark. She has jumped into helping Nic and the team with social media, web, marketing and event logistics for SailorGirlHQ, Sunset Media and their clients.

KATIE SPITHILL

Expert Commentator

Katie has had a very successful sailing career and has multiple titles to her name, including multiple World Sailing Grade 1 match racing victories and silver and bronze medals in the World Match Racing Championship. Katie more recently has also been an advocate to encourage stronger female representation in Australian sailing and promote ocean health and sustainability through her team Women Racing Aus. As a mother of two, and with a full-time job at North Sails, we are not sure how she finds the time, but we have loved having Katie on the team since 2019!

JOSH BAIRD

Videographer and Editor

Josh has worked with Nic for over a decade. As a talented videographer he is able to capture the magic on and off the water beautifully. Josh works closely with Nic on both filming, and editing content. He is part of the Sunset family. 

WENDELL TEODORO

Photographer

Wendell is a an exceptionally talented photographer who has shot with Nic and the team since 2022 when he worked with Nic at Hamilton Island Race Week. Wendell specialises in portraits and photographing people and place.
